The beginning of 2023 brings a big return to Disney World — the return of After Hours events!

These hard-ticket events are a way to spend time in the parks after hours — without the crowds and high wait times. And if you’re looking to get as much done at Disney World’s most popular park as possible, the new After Hours at Disney’s Hollywood Studios may be the perfect option!
Starting in January 2023, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will begin to host Disney After Hours events after the park closes to regular guests.
What Are Disney After Hours Events?
So, what is a Disney After Hours event? Similar to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, or Mickey Not So Scary Halloween Party, Disney After Hours are a separately ticketed event that allows you to enjoy light snacks, entertainment, and low wait times in the parks after hours.

For 2023, Disney After Hours are taking place at both Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom. For Disney’s Hollywood Studios, they will happen on select nights from January 4th, 2023 to April 19th, 2023, with tickets available online.

Ticket prices are different depending on the date, so you are looking at $139 to $149 per person. However, discounts are available for Passholderes and Disney Vacation Club members.

The ticket allows you entry into the park as early as 7PM, though the event officially takes place from 9:30PM to 12:30AM.
What is Available During Disney After Hours?
Disney has shared that the list of available attractions is subject to change, but as of now the following will be available:
- Alien Swirling Saucers
- Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway
- Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run
- Slinky Dog Dash
- Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
- Toy Story Mania!
- and more!

What Snacks Are Available?
Similar to other after hours events, you will be able to get a variety of complimentary snacks with admission to Disney After Hours. These will include ice cream novelties, popcorn, and select bottled beverages that you can find at various carts throughout the park.

Will Any Shows Be Available?
For entertainment, you will get showtimes available as a regular guest, as well as after hours. The Wonderful World of Animation show takes place at the Chinese Theatre, and will be available at 9PM for regular guests and 11:45PM for After Hours guests.

You can also catch a showing of Disney Movie Magic — twice! It will be available at 8:40PM and 11:25PM.

Finally, there’s Fantasmic!, which will be available during regular guest hours. Showtimes may change based on the date you visit, so be sure to check the Disney World website or My Disney Experience beforehand when planning.

We’ll keep you updated on any further news and dates from Disney After Hours, so stay tuned to AllEars for more.
