Could a New Popcorn Kiosk Be Coming to EPCOT? Here’s What We Know!

We’ve got good news for Disney popcorn fans (is there really such a thing as people who aren’t popcorn fans??).

EPCOT is currently part way through a major transformation, and we’re very excited to experience the finished product. We knew we were getting a new restaurant with La Creperie de Paris, but it seems there may be another new spot to snack too.

Disney has filed a permit with an exhibits firm to fabricate and install a new popcorn kiosk in what will be World Celebration!

For those who don’t know, World Celebration will be the center part of Future World and extend from the park’s entrance to the start of World Showcase.

The permit is filed to an address that sits right next to the former location of Mouse Gear. The spot is also home to what used to be the Festival Playground across from Test Track.

The permit means that Disney is planning to begin working with a firm to fabricate and install a popcorn kiosk at this location — though we haven’t heard an official announcement of this and the plans could change.
