EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts is HERE, and it’s time to experience all it has to offer!

This festival is full of delicious dining options at the various food stalls around the park, but you don’t want to miss all the incredible entertainment this festival has to offer. There can be a lot, and it can feel overwhelming at times, but that’s why we’re here to help!
Visual Arts
The Walking Chalk Gallery will absolutely take your breath away as you walk from World Celebration towards World Showcase — all the art is incredible, but the 3D artwork is something extra special!

Kiddos and families can also enjoy the Kids’ Chalk Art section, which is where families can all draw with chalk together.

You also don’t want to miss the Animation Academy at 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM each day at the America Gardens Theatre! This is a fun and informative drawing class taught by actual Disney artists (don’t worry — paper and pencils are provided!), where you can learn how to draw your favorite characters.

Lots of Disney guests love participating in the Expression Section: Paint By Numbers Mural, where everyone works together to create a massive work of art! You’ll be assigned a color and a small number of squares to paint, and when it’s all said and done, it becomes one big mural. The best part? You can come back and do it as many times as you’d like!

Want to meet some famous Disney artists and maybe get some signed work? You can do that at this festival too! Check out the full list of artist signings and appearances on the Disney World website, but be sure to check the My Disney Experience app and Festival Passport for the most recent updates.

Performing Arts
Musical theatre fans HAVE to check out the Disney on Broadway Concert Series, which features performances by some of Broadway’s most accomplished actors and actresses. Located at the America Gardens Theatre in The American Adventure pavilion, you’ll hear them sing some Disney Broadway hits at the three performances each night — 5:30 PM, 6:45 PM, and 8 PM.

Disney on Broadway Concert Series Dining Packages are also available, which offer guests the chance to pair lunch or dinner at a participating EPCOT Table Service restaurant to get guaranteed priority seating for one of the shows on the same day. You can also get a same-day walk-up Disney on Broadway Dining Package at Regal Eagle Smokehouse, which still offers guaranteed seating, just at a lower price!

You’ll want to head over to World Showcase Plaza to check out various musical performances happening throughout the day, as well as Visual Art in Performance. This gives guests a chance to see a high-energy artist paint Disney characters LIVE on stage in just minutes! Be sure to check your My Disney Experience App and the Festival Passport for all the latest showtimes and details — you won’t want to miss it!

Additional Offerings
There are also numerous different special photo opportunities around the park that you can take advantage of during the festival! You’ll find them at the following locations:
-
- International Gateway: Luncheon of the Boating Party – Pierre-Auguste Renoir
- The American Adventure Pavilion: Washington Crossing the Delaware – Emanuel Gottlieb Leutze
- Between Italy Pavilion and Germany Pavilion: Mona Lisa – Leonardo da Vinci
- Between Italy Pavilion and Germany Pavilion: The Scream – Edvard Munch
- Bridge to World Showcase: Tea time with penguins scene from Mary Poppins
- Bridge to World Showcase: Forest Scene from Sleeping Beauty
- Bridge to World Showcase: A Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game photo op, featuring a scene from Fabled – one of the most recent Disney Lorcana sets
Don’t forget to check out the FREE Lorcana Scavenger Hunt as well, which is new to EPCOT! You can pick up the scavenger hunt at World Traveler, which comes with a free pack of Lorcana cards. You’ll travel around the park, attempting to find all the cards and trade with other guests to get a full deck, and when you do, you can head back to World Traveler to get the special Rapunzel Lorcana card!

Finally, to end your night, we recommend checking out the special Spaceship Earth lighting show. While there is a show every night, it’s only during the festival that you can see the special Figment Beacon of Magic display and the Muppets’ “Rainbow Connection” show.

We’ll be keeping you updated on all the latest festival news as it goes along, so you know how to plan your trip, so stay tuned to AllEars!
