Disney Confirms a BIG Ride Change for September 21st in EPCOT

For all of you out there who love to ride Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and are collecting all the songs like infinity stones, there’s a change happening next week you need to know about.

For ONE day next week, you won’t be able to hear the typical playlist of six songs on the attraction. Instead, you’ll hear the same song…all day long (oh, we feel for those Cast Members!). For some, this will be a dream since the song itself is so iconic, but for those who aren’t expecting it, you may be a little surprised.

If you’re a big fan of 70s and 80s music and find yourself quoting them all the time, you likely can’t get enough of the songs on Cosmic Rewind. With it being the month of September, you may find yourself looking forward to singing “September” by Earth, Wind & Fire on September 21st.

If that IS the case, then Cosmic Rewind is EXACTLY where you need to head next week, because Cosmic Rewind will play “September” on repeat on September 21st to celebrate the day.

Yes, this does mean that if you were hoping to get any OTHER song, we don’t recommend riding the ride on this day, but if you haven’t gotten “September” and still need that Infinity Stone, it’ll be guaranteed.

This is only a one-day thing, though — on September 22nd, the ride will return to normal, and all the songs will be available in their randomized state.
