Are You REALLY a Harry Potter Fan If You Didn't Do This at Epic Universe?!

I became a Harry Potter fan the moment I began to read the books as a kid, so you can bet one of the areas I was most looking forward to exploring in Epic Universe was Ministry of Magic!

Battle at the Ministry is an incredible ride I couldn’t get enough of, and Le Cirque Arcanus TOTALLY took my breath away, but there’s one shop and character interaction I fear may go entirely unnoticed, and I’m here to tell you it’s a MUST DO in this land!

There are lots of different stores and restaurants around the land, and some of them are a little more tucked away than you may expect. Le Gobelet Noir is my favorite place to grab the refreshing (and non-alcoholic) The Fraise, and I love exploring all the sweet treats at K. Rammelle.

However, one of the shops that will likely catch your eye immediately is Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique. This is the wand shop here in Paris, and it’s owned by none other than Cosme herself. While you’ll find the newer second generation wands inside, you’ll also find absolutely gorgeous first generation wands that are designs you can ONLY find in Cosme’s shop!

While stepping into the shop and checking out the wands is certainly a must-do in my book, the REAL must-do is waiting around to be able to see and interact with Cosme herself!

When I was exploring the land with Sage and rushing to Le Cirque Arcanus, we happened to see her while we were walking through the outside portion of the ride, and we waved hello. She came right up to us, said hello, and asked if we planned to stop by her shop after we saw the show, which we (of course) said yes. It was such a fantastic interaction, but that was only the beginning.

We did indeed go back to the shop after the show and Sage asked her to help him pick out a wand, and she brought him DIRECTLY to the one he had already been eying! The day prior, I had been in the park by myself and had a magical experience with Cosme as well — myself and two other girls had been asking about a wand, and she brought it out and handed it straight to me! She described the wand, what personality traits its user often has, and lo and behold, that’s the wand I bought the next day.

Truly, an experience with her is like no other, and I can’t recommend it enough! She usually comes out at least once every hour in the shop for around half an hour. If you don’t see her when you’re there, plan to come back in 20-30 minutes, or you can ask a Team Member in the shop when she may be returning.
