REVIEW: That's It. We Found the BEST Dessert in Epic Universe

Epic Universe has blown our minds in SO many ways — the rides, the immersive details, the decorations — we just keep looking forward to going back!

However, the food has also seriously impressed us, and when we stepped into K. Rammelle, the sweets shop in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Ministry of Magic, we were FLOORED to see these GORGEOUS new cakes sitting in the display case. We knew we had to try them out.

There are three new cakes here that just debuted, and they’re all BEYOND stunning! Just look at the detail on them — the best part, though? Each one is only $14!

The first cake is the Blackberry and Lavender K. Rammelle Petit Gâteau, which has an entire macaron on top. Honestly, we were afraid to eat this one because of how stunning it looked, but we certainly weren’t disappointed. We really loved the combination of custard and jam, but it does have a floral taste, so if you’re not a fan, then we suggest avoiding this one!

It’s wrapped in a very thin layer of fondant, which didn’t make the cake overly sweet, which we were slightly afraid of at first. The macaron on top tasted mostly like sugar with a hint of berry, but overall, we were fans of this one!

You can also grab the Blueberry Lemon Beauxbatons Petit Gâteau, which is covered in the most beautiful blue butterflies and even the iconic blue hat from the school! Again, we didn’t want to disturb the masterpiece, but we really did enjoy its sweet, summery flavor.

It has a huge layer of lemon cheesecake, which we loved, and the blueberry was just enough to accent the other flavors masterfully. It was moist and delicious through and through, but beware that the coating on this cake is VERY sticky!

Now this next one is for the chocolate fans — the Tiramisu Ministry of Magic Petit Gâteau is designed incredibly and IS entirely edible (wild; we know), and is definitely going to be a hit for those who prefer those coffee and chocolate flavors rather than fruit.

It’s a very moist cake without being “wet,” which is impressive. The mascarpone was beautifully rich and complemented the rest of the cake beautifully. The creaminess was fantastic against the brighter coffee and cake flavor, so this gets two thumbs up from us!

We really enjoyed all three of these incredible desserts and think they’re absolutely worth the cost when you visit. They’re moist, have great flavor, and aren’t “over the top” with trying to create strange flavor combinations. We have a feeling they may run out fast each day, so you may want to grab one sooner rather than later during your park visit!
