Disney World trips are all about making memories, but what if I told you there’s a way to make them even more hilarious?

We noticed a new trend where people play a game they like to call “Button Roulette,” and it instantly became our new favorite way to add extra fun to a day in the parks. It’s easy, it’s free, and it’s guaranteed to get your group (and maybe even some Cast Members) laughing. If you’re looking for a unique way to liven up your Disney World experience, you’re going to want to try this one out.
What is Button Roulette?
You’ve probably seen those free celebration buttons at Disney World – the ones that say things like “Happy Birthday” or “First Visit.” What you might not know is that you can grab as many as you want (within reason) and write whatever you want on them. That’s where the fun begins!

With Button Roulette, everyone in your group gets a celebration button, but there’s a catch: You don’t get to choose which one you wear. Instead, you write out a variety of fun or silly celebrations, toss them into a bag (or a hat, or whatever you have handy), and take turns drawing a button at random. Whatever you pull, you wear proudly for the day!

How to Play

- Get Your Buttons – You can pick up free celebration buttons at Guest Relations locations, most hotel front desks, and many gift shops throughout the parks.
- Write Out Fun Celebrations – The best part of this game is getting creative with what you celebrate. Maybe it’s “Celebrating My First Corn Dog,” “I Conquered the Carousel,” or “Best Stroller Navigator.” Go wild with it!
- Mix Them Up – Put all the buttons into a bag, mix them around, and let each person draw one at random. No peeking!
- Wear It With Pride – Whatever you pull, you have to wear it for the whole day. Bonus points if you commit to the bit when people ask about your “celebration.”
