NEW LOOK at Construction for Disney World’s Pirates of the Caribbean Lounge

A new video on Disney’s social media channels has dropped a look inside a highly-anticipated Disney dining experience.

In early March 2025, the official Disney Imagineering Instagram account posted a short clip following a Disney Imagineer Montse during a quick tour of the future Pirates of the Caribbean Lounge at the Magic Kingdom.

The clip, which is captioned with “Yo ho, yo ho, an Imagineer’s life for Montse! ?‍☠️✨ From working at Pirates of the Caribbean during her @officialdisneyprograms to shaping the future of Magic Kingdom, talk about a full-circle moment!”,  gives a bit of backstory on its focus Imagineer before taking viewers inside

First, there are a couple of images of Montse Garmilla working at Pirates of the Caribbean during her time in the Disney College Program.

.Once inside, we’re shown the earliest construction of the lounge’s bar…

…and the Captain’s Quarters, each with corresponding pieces of concept art.

The quick clip wraps up with Montse reminiscing on how full-circle it feels to be working on the Pirate Lounge in an Imagineering capacity.

According to Disney, this upcoming lounge will “offer a welcoming haven for all pirate-kind, big and small, and everyone in between. Here, bandits and buccaneers-to-be from every corner of the seven seas are welcome to join together and raise a toast to the pirate life!”

A new official Disney social media tells he story of an Imagineer working on the upcoming Pirate Lounge, who had previously been a Pirates of the Caribbean Cast Member, along with a first look inside the establishment. Stay tuned to AllEars for more on Disney’s upcoming projects.
