Being an Annual Passholder in Disney World is far from cheap, and often you may wonder if the price you pay is worth it, but if you’ve already taken the plunge and made the purchase, then it’s time to make the most of it!

There are tons of perks to being an Annual Passholder, and if you’ve just become one for the first time, some of them are absolutely bucket list items you won’t want to miss out on. So when you step into the park for the first time as a Passholder, make sure you do these five things!
Grab Your Magnet
Throughout the year, Disney releases special Annual Passholder magnets that are totally FREE! They all have different designs too, which means as you collect them, no two are alike.

Oftentimes Passholders get very excited to guess about who will star on the next magnet, and we love displaying them somewhere in our house and remembering the Disney magic.
Take a Cute Photo!
Disney doesn’t often give out physical Annual Passholder cards anymore, but with or without one, find a fun spot in the park to take an adorable photo and announce your Annual Passholder status!

If you added memory maker onto your Annual Pass for an additional fee, you can take advantage of the AP exclusive PhotoPass offerings they have every now and then, OR you can always grab yourself a celebration button for free, write that you’re celebrating being an AP, and ask a PhotoPass Cast Member to take a photo with your own phone. That’s a great way to get a super cute photo at NO additional charge!
Grab That AP Merch!
Annual Passholders also nearly always have special Annual Passholder merchandise available in all the different Disney World parks that only Passholders can grab. If your budget allows, what better way to show off that Passholder status?

These can range to be anything from special AP ears, apparel, pins, and more! Plus, don’t forget that you can use your 20% off discount at most shopping locations to get said merch! Who doesn’t love a good deal? We know we do!
Dining Discounts!
Speaking of discounts for Annual Passholders, don’t forget to use your new discount on the various dining locations around the resort that accept them!

For the most part, more expensive meals like table service meals take Annual Passholder discounts while quick service locations don’t a lot of the time. However, you can always check Disney World’s Annual Passholder website page to see what restaurants currently accept discounts. While in the park or at a hotel, you can also ask Cast Members to confirm if a discount is available.
Soak in the Free Parking
One of the biggest perks to being a Disney World Annual Passholder is the fact that you can park completely for free at all Disney World parks! Yep, no more paying $30+ each day to park or having to rely on Disney transportation! While it may not seem egregious, it adds up quick, and saving money wherever you can in Disney World is important.

There is almost no better feeling in the world of being a Passholder than pulling up to parking, scanning your MagicBand/Annual Passholder ID, showing your personal ID, and getting to drive through to parking without paying a DIME!
