What’s the Best Way to Spend $20 in EPCOT?

Looking to get the most out of your dollar at Disney World? You’ve come to the right place!

EPCOT

It’s no secret that a Disney World vacation ain’t cheap. Not only are park tickets expensive, you have to factor in lodging, food, travel, ticket add-ons, and so much more. So the question quickly turns from “How do I not spend a ton of money?” to “How do I get the most out of money?”, especially at a popular park like EPCOT. The answer varies, but if you’re looking to spend $20 at EPCOT and really make it count, we might have a few tips for ya!

It’s really easy to spend tons of money at EPCOT. Drinking Around the World isn’t cheap, nor is splurging on all the great merch and fantastic eats. So if you’ve got $20 to spend, but want to spend it wisely, our team has some thoughts on what would be most worthwhile spending that $20 bill on.

She’s a beaut.

One of our team members had a delicious idea on how to spend $20 at EPCOT: Buy as many Gingerbread Cookie Sandwiches as possible at Karamell-Küche! Costing $7.79, you can pick up a couple and go slightly over budget for a third at this Germany Pavilion shop.

Perhaps a more grounded way to spend $20 is on a Lightning Lane Single Pass for one of Disney World’s most popular thrill attractions.

To say Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is popular is an understatement. The ride uses a virtual queue, which means you’ll be lucky to ride it once during your visit and there’s a chance you miss out altogether. The simplest solution is to buy a Lightning Lane Single Pass to ensure a ride. Prices for this pass generally wind up in the $15-20 range per person, which fits our $20 budget!

Thinking you’d rather spend $20 on sweets and treats? Grab a Croque Glacé or an Ice Cream Martini at the France Pavilion’s L’Artisan des Glaces!

Croque Glacé

A Croque Glacé is made with 1 scoop of ice cream with your choice of sauce in a homemade brioche, pressed warm for $10.95 while the Ice Cream Martini is made with 2 scoops, a shot of Grand Marnier, and whipped cream vodka or rum for $14.95. Either way, you have enough left over for a baguette!

If you want to stockpile a snack, visit the China Pavilion and head on into House of Good Fortune for special flavors of Lays Potato Chips!

Flavors vary depending on the date of your visit and each bag will cost you $5.50.

Finally, the last suggestion from our team is probably the most responsible one. Did you forget something important like chapstick, sunscreen, or other necessities at home or in your hotel? You might need to spend on those items at EPCOT.

Disney World Essentials!

Creations Shop is a popular spot to pick up souvenirs and necessities, and many other retail locations can carry must-have items as well. If your issue is serious, stop by a first-aid location in the park and they’ll be able to help you as well.
