One of the key parts of a Walt Disney World vacation is packing the right park bag. Having everything you could need — in a bag that’s convenient to carry around the park — can be the difference between a magical day and a massive letdown.

Since we spend A LOT of time in the parks, we have also spent a lot of time perfecting the must-haves in our Disney World park bag. We want to make sure you are prepared for your Disney World vacation, so make sure you have these items in your park bag.
We don’t want you to be caught in the parks wishing you had brought one of these items, so we are rounding up the non-negotiable items that need to be in your park bag.
For starters, we love our FuelRods. We talk about these things a lot because they are so convenient to have at Disney World. We have them in our bags every single day.

FuelRods are portable chargers that you can easily swap out for free at Disney World. They are small and hold a decent amount of charge. But we really love them because there are lots of FuelRod stations throughout Disney World where you can swap for a fully charged FuelRod for free. You will never have to worry about having a dead phone in Disney World with a FuelRod.
We also make sure to always pack our JISULIFE Handheld Fan.

This handheld fan is a life-changer while you are in the parks. It does a great job of cooling you down, and it is a great size to fit in your park bag easily. It does a great job holding a charge, but you can always use a FuelRod if you need more charge throughout the day!
You will also want to make sure you have good sunscreen in your park bag. We love the Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen.

Supergoop! is water- and sweat-resistant and doesn’t leave white streaks on your skin. It is one of our favorite sunscreens, and it is a must-have in our park bag to protect our skin from the sun.
We always carry around first aid essentials like Band-Aids and pain medication. However, if you are looking for a simple way to make sure you have all the essentials, we love this KeepGoing Travel First Aid Kit.

It is a mini first aid kit, but it packs all the essentials you need! It is TSA-approved and available in a variety of designs. With this kit, you will always be prepared. If you get injured while in the parks, there are also first aid stations in each of the parks, or Cast Members can call for medical assistance.
You will also want to pack a good pair of sunglasses! Florida isn’t called the Sunshine State for no reason. We love these Retro Oval Sunglasses for the parks.

Make sure your eyes are protected, and you aren’t having to squint all day long in the bright sun. These sunglasses are stylish AND protect your eyes. You can choose from a variety of different designs, too!
Our bag is also packed with wet wipes, like these Hand Sanitizing Wipes.

These wipes serve a couple of purposes. First, they are great for sanitizing your hands after you have been touching a lot of things. Also, there are quite a few messy snacks at Disney World, and we love having these on hand to clean up after a messy treat easily. You can also use these to wipe down tables before you eat.
Also, make sure you don’t forget a water bottle! We are huge fans of this Owala Water Bottle.

During the summer, it will be hot, and you want to make sure you are drinking plenty of water. Even if it isn’t super hot outside, you will want to ensure you stay hydrated. We love bringing an insulated water bottle with us, but you can also stop by quick-service restaurants to get free cups of iced water.
Finally, you will want to make sure you bring your phone with you! This is probably one of our number one items that you will want to have. Ensure you have downloaded the My Disney Experience app onto it and have plenty of space for photos and videos. The My Disney Experience app has SO much helpful information, and it is a must-have for a day in the park. We recommend downloading it beforehand so you can familiarize yourself with the app.

These are some of our must-have essentials, and while you will likely have additional items you will want to have, these are non-negotiable in our opinion. If you plan on taking a lot of photos of your group, you may consider a phone holder (although keep in mind selfie sticks are NOT allowed in the parks). We also love including a claw clip and a mini hairbrush in our park bag to fix up your hair quickly.
