Disney, We Are BEGGING You To Keep This NEW Single Rider Line at EPCOT!

While single-rider lines aren’t for everyone, especially groups who want to ensure they can ride all together, they can be extremely helpful for solo travelers or groups who don’t mind not riding together.

Recently, Rise of the Resistance in Disney’s Hollywood Studios began testing a single-rider line, and now we noticed a new single-rider line pop up at another massively popular attraction — this time it’s EPCOT‘s turn!

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure first debuted in Disneyland Paris, which has had a single-rider line since the beginning. However, while there’s been one at the attraction in EPCOT since its opening, it’s been used very rarely — if at all. That’s all changing though!

The Lightning Lane entrance used to be on the far left, but that left the middle entrance totally empty. Now, however, Lightning Lane has moved to the middle entrance and Single Rider is on the far left!

We tried it out ourselves today and our wait time was extremely short — we maybe waited 5 minutes to board a vehicle, and it felt very intentional and planned since the pathway has been there since the ride was built.

Super short wait!

We did notice that some non-single rider guests were a little shocked to be put with a stranger, but another more recent addition to the ride is the numbers on the back of the ride vehicle that show that 3 people are seated per row. We saw first-hand that this helped Cast Members explain to groups that they very well may be placed with a single rider.

When we spoke to a Cast Member we were informed that the line is doing very well and is expected to stick around for the foreseeable future. So if you’re traveling to EPCOT soon and don’t want to wait in a super long line with your family/group and are okay splitting up to ride, this is a great option!

There are two of these signs posted on your path!
