It's Official! A NEW Character Is Now Meeting at EPCOT

It’s always an exciting day when NEW characters pop up around Disney World!

We had a hunch that this Marvel icon would be coming to EPCOT soon, and then Disney officially confirmed it — and made us wait before the time officially came. But, we’re thrilled to say that day is here so come with us to meet a NEW character at EPCOT!

Peter Quill a.k.a. Star-Lord is officially meeting folks at EPCOT! We stopped by to say hello to this Guardian of the Galaxy, who is currently greeting guests near World Celebration Gardens and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.

And there he is!

We didn’t have to wait too long to meet him, but there were quite a few people queued up to talk about the “old EPCOT” with him, since Peter Quill visited the park as a kid, according to Marvel lore.

According to the My Disney Experience app, Star-Lord is meeting at 1:20 PM, 2:30 PM, and 3:45 PM daily, but these times are subject to change — so make sure you double-check on the date of your visit!

We’re not quite sure how long Star-Lord will be around meeting guests at EPCOT, so you might want to make your way over there soon if you don’t want to miss him. In the meantime, make sure you stay tuned to AllEars for the latest Disney news and more!
