You'll Never Guess Which Celebrity Just Rode the EPCOT Ride He's In

Celebrities are just like us: they love Disney!

Celebrities come to Disney World ALL the time, and most recently we’ve seen some pretty big names in the parks, including Charlize Theron, Sydney Sweeney, Harry Shum Jr., and more. However, one celebrity recently visited Disney World for one very specific reason: to check out a ride he’s actually a part of.

We’re talking about former football player, television host, and actor, Terry Crews, who is actually in Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT as Centurion Tal Mari during the ride’s pre-show. His character has a very important role: he advises against the use of communication devices with recording capabilities on the attraction. Here he is in the ride:

Crews recently got a chance to ride the attraction, and let’s just say that he seems very pleased with it — he was ALL smiles.

What’s even more astounding is that this is the first time Crews has been able to ride the attraction, which debuted in EPCOT in 2022. But, hey, we get it — he’s a busy guy. He certainly seemed thrilled with seeing himself during the pre-show, too, as anyone would be.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind teleports EPCOT visitors to a ship, but after the Cosmic Generator is stolen and the ship loses power, the Guardians of Galaxy are called on to help. When it’s discovered that a Celestial, Eson, has used the Cosmic Generator to jump to the beginning of time, with the intention of erasing all existence, you’re guided to evacuation shuttles, but of course, you end up in the middle of the big battle between the Guardians and Eson. The coaster is the first for Disney with a backward launch, and yes, it’s all pretty exciting, so Crews has every right to be thrilled.
