We've Got A Word of Warning About April 21st at EPCOT

Are you planning a trip to Disney World?

If you’re visiting soon, you’ve probably already done most of your planning, so now you’re at the stage where you need to keep an eye on the weather forecast, put together your packing list, and double-check park hours. Speaking of park hours, we’ve got a heads up concerning that to tell you about.

Disney World’s park hours are always subject to change due to one thing or another. Often we see early closures when there’s a private event taking place in the parks. However, we sometimes see late openings, which is the case with EPCOT soon.

On April 21st, EPCOT will open at 10AM instead of its usual 9AM. You’ll need to be aware of that if you’re planning an EPCOT day on that date.

Note that if you are staying at a Disney World hotel, you will be able to enter the park at 9:30AM with the Early Theme Park Entry perk, 30 minutes before it officially opens to the public.

Of course, that could mean you’ll need to re-prioritize your day in EPCOT since you’ll be losing an hour of park time. If you’re using Genie+, here’s a guide to help you know which rides you should make a priority.
