The REAL Reason They Built the Moana Attraction in EPCOT

Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana is now officially open in EPCOT.

Let’s go inside!

We’ve already gotten to check it out a couple of times, and believe us when we say that it’s going to be POPULAR. We think it was created with one crowd in mind…

The KIDDOS. Yep, this attraction just lures toddlers in to splash and play in all the opportunities there are to stick their hands into the water.

Journey of Water

It’s basically a giant splash pad that’s themed to Moana. It’s a splash pad with a literal splash pad built inside it. We can’t think of a single kid who WOULDN’T want to spend hours here.

There’s so much to explore here!

It’s true that this attraction will keep them entertained for a WHILE. However, there is a downside. They won’t want to leave. Like, at all. They’ll keep wanting to splash and play while you’re wanting to hightail it out of there so that you don’t miss your boarding group for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.

So many things to play with

So… if you’re planning on having your toddlers tag along, you might want to have some backup plans for how you plan to wrangle them outta there after the 4th hour or so. Bribe them with a Mickey Bar, perhaps? (Just kidding, we can’t tell you to bribe your children.)

We’ll continue to keep you updated with more Disney World warnings and advice, so make sure to follow along so that you never miss a thing!
