It’s nearly time to say goodbye to a beloved attraction, unfortunately.

In 2024, Disney made the shocking announcement that a new Monsters, Inc. -themed land would be coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida. While that inclusion in itself is exciting, it doesn’t come without a significant casualty — the fan-favorite Muppet*Vision 3D.
You can experience Muppet*Vision 3D for the last time on June 7th, 2025. On June 8th and after, all you’ll have left are the memories.

With that said, Cast Members who work at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be invited to an exclusive party on June 10th, during which they’ll be the last people to experience Muppets Courtyard and the attraction.

That’s right — we’re not only losing Muppet*Vision, but the entire land (including PizzeRizzo) as well on June 7th.

Disney has stated that Muppet*Vision 3D will be remembered in some capacity. It’s unclear if that means through a Disney+ special or something else, but we’ll keep you posted when that information is made known.

The Muppets aren’t totally leaving Disney’s Hollywood Studios, though! It was previously announced that The Muppets would be taking over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, replacing Aerosmith in a retheme that will feature some of today’s biggest stars. We’ll keep you posted when an official refurbishment timeline is announced.

We’ll continue to keep you updated on all the latest Monsters, Inc. Land news, as well as all the happenings around the Disney World Resort, so stay tuned right here at AllEars to stay in the know!
