It’s that time! Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana is ready for you!
After months of construction (that we excitedly watched from the Monorail) and weeks of previews for Annual Passholders and other visitors, the attraction has soft opened. Its official debut is on October 16th, but if you are going to the soft opening, we’ve got an update for you!
When Disney announced the attraction’s soft opening, they mentioned the possibility of a Virtual Queue similar to the one used during previews. Well, we are here to confirm that Disney is using a Virtual Queue today!
We hopped in the queue on the My Disney Experience app around 9:15AM and at that time, the wait was posted at 40 minutes in the app.
The Virtual Queue will only be used as needed, so this may also be the case when the attraction officially opens. Remember, this soft opening is only on select days and times and it is not guaranteed that you will get to experience it. Think of it like a dress rehearsal for the attraction!
