NEWS: Annual Passholder Previews Announced for EPCOT's New Moana Attraction

We finally have more news about Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana!

While the opening date STILL hasn’t been announced, we did get some news and it might mean we’re getting closer! Let’s take a look at this new update!

Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana is a brand new attraction coming to EPCOT. It’s a self-guided tour of all things water. You can learn about water and even play with water! They have wet or dry paths you can explore based on your preferences. Recently, Disney had the Cast Member previews where we got a first look at this new attraction.

Now, Disney has just announced the Annual Passholder Preview for the new experience!

Annual Passholders will get the opportunity to be among the first to journey with water. The previews will take place at EPCOT on September 24th through September 29th, 2023, and between October 1st and October 4th, 2023.

Disney’s Annual Passholder website states that you do not need to register for the event, but you must have a park reservation for EPCOT on the day you plan to preview. If you enter the park after 2PM without a park reservation, you will not be able to walk through the preview.

There will only be a standby queue for the previews, not a virtual queue and everyone in your party MUST be an Annual Passholder in order for them to go through the attraction.

We expect this means we’re getting closer to the opening date! We won’t be surprised if we find out this weekend during Destination D23 when that will officially be!
