EPCOT is going through some major changes!

This multi-year transformation has brought us some exciting new experiences. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, Connections Cafe and Eatery, and more have already debuted, but there are still quite a few additions to come. Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana is a new attraction that will allow guests to meet and play with magical, living water. It is set to open sometime this fall, but we were lucky enough to get a special Cast Member preview. Come take a look!
So Journey of Water is a walkthrough attraction with interactive elements that you can play with. So, to quote Moana, let’s see how far it goes.

First, we have to point out that you’ll find a water bottle refill station near the entrance.

Signage will give you a better idea of what the attraction is about. It’s educational, of course, so VERY EPCOT.

Note that you CAN get wet on this attraction, but you don’t have to.

So if you don’t want to get wet, follow the Dry Path sign. Note: the dry path bypasses all the interactive elements, so you’ll miss most of the attraction if you take it.

Of course, this attraction comes with its own set of rules, too, as well as guidelines. Food and water are not allowed in the area, except for commercially bottled water.

You’ll also see signs that teach you all about the water cycle.

Each interactive area has its own theme. For example, this one has the theme of rain.

The entire area is filled with greenery and water, meaning this could be the most chill attraction in Disney World. This is the stream area.

You’ll find some very familiar things while walking through, like this symbol related to Moana.

You’ll want to spend a lot of time looking for those Imagineering details. Oh, hey, Pua!

There’s SO much to play with here. Signs in each area will tell you how to interact.

Need a break? You’ll find benches in the attraction, too. There’s also a bathroom in the middle of the attraction. Disney thought of everything here!

Of course, there’s the giant Te-Fiti here, too — and she really is as stunning as we thought she would be.

We’ll be back with a COMPLETE walkthrough soon, so be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for more!
