With all of the rides, shows, and places to eat, one could argue that you really need to have a good game plan in mind when visiting this park. We asked you to share the worst advice you could give someone visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Who needs to plan?

You don’t need Genie+

Some of our readers mentioned that there’s no need to buy Genie+ or use it at all. Who needs to worry about things like shorter wait times for those popular rides?!

One reader shared, “Arrive at noon without buying Genie+.”

Another reader mentioned, “Sleep in and don’t worry about purchasing Genie+.”

Another one shared, “You can get a great view of the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular by sneaking backstage and standing next to the fuel truck.”

Popular Rides? No, thank you!

Staying right on topic, some of our readers mentioned skipping the popular rides altogether. Why waste time going to the most incredible parts of the park?

One reader shared, “Slinky Dog isn’t that great.”

Another shared, “Star Tours is all the Star Wars experience you need. You can skip Batuu.”

You don’t need sunscreen or shade.

Some of our readers mentioned not needing any sunscreen or even thinking about trying to find shade. Florida really isn’t that hot or sunny of a place, right?

One reader shared, “Go during the heat of the day in the summer.”

Another reader mentioned, “Don’t get a Lightning Lane for Slinky so you can wait in that beautiful Florida sunshine! Go at about 3 p.m. to maximize that vitamin D.”

Another kicked it up a notch by stating, “Wear high heels and a heavy sweater.”
