Okay, so you probably understand that things sometimes happen in Disney World that are completely out of your control.

Weather can affect attractions, refurbishments close rides down, and sometimes rides are down for other reasons. But this week, one ride in Disney World has gone down — a LOT. That ride is closed right now, too.
A few days ago, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge was having a rough day — at one point both of its attractions, Rise of the Resistance and Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run were temporarily closed. A day later, Rise of the Resistance was closed again. Now, Rise of the Resistance is closed YET AGAIN.

Cast Members informed us that it’s down due to technical issues and that they don’t know when it will reopen. They are also informing guests that they shouldn’t wait around.

So what should you do if you’ve paid for the Individual Lightning Lane option for this ride? Well, you’ll get an Experience Pass that allows you to return to the ride’s Lightning Lane anytime after it reopens. If for some reason, the ride does NOT reopen that day, you can go to guest services to ask for a refund.

We’ll keep an eye on the situation and keep you updated, so stay tuned to AllEars for more!
