Here’s What CHANGED at Fantasmic! in Disney World

Disney World is known for its world-class attractions, dining, and entertainment.

And up until recently, one fan-favorite show had yet to return after the park closures. But now, Fantasmic! is coming BACK at Hollywood Studios and we couldn’t be more excited! Today, we were able to see an early media preview prior to its official opening night on November 3rd. And after taking in the updated show, we’re sharing exactly what’s DIFFERENT with Fantasmic!

Fantasmic! is one of the nighttime shows at Disney’s Hollywood Studios that has a huge following.

This show is a favorite of many Disney fans due to its high-energy performances and incredible technological features — but what has changed about Fantasmic! since its return?

The biggest change to Fantasmic! is the new segment that focuses on a “journey with our heroes” — several of which have been added to the new scenes like Princess Tiana, Hercules, Mirabel Madrigal, and Mulan.

…and a new Mulan stunt sequence!

There’s also a stunt scene that involves Aladdin being chased around on some trampolines, too!

Frozen fans, where are you?! Elsa is part of the new segment, and she pops up to sing “Show Yourself” from Frozen 2 — it’s quite the moving moment!

The segment is wrapped up with a new Moana scene in which her grandmother Tala appears — and then Moana comes out and sings as well.

There are also some exciting new technological and practical effects as part of the revamped Fantasmic! show, like the water effects during the Moana segment.

The show also runs a bit longer than it had previously, although we did not get to witness the end of our show during the media preview as it was canceled due to inclement weather. Luckily, Emma and Quincy were around to act out the finale!

We’ll be back to celebrate the officially opening tomorrow night, and will update with any other must-see moments, so stay tuned!
