VIDEO: The First Holiday Decorations Are UP in EPCOT!

Break out the peppermint drinks, the holidays have arrived in Disney World (yes, BEFORE Halloween)!

Spaceship Earth in EPCOT

We’ve already seen holiday decorations going up in Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but ANOTHER Disney park has now decided to join in on the fun!

While we were strolling through EPCOT on October 28th, we saw that the first holiday decorations have started to pop up in the park! While much of the park seemed “normal,” we found the first taste of the holidays way in the back of the France pavilion (by Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie!).

There They Are!

Holiday snowflakes are starting to be placed in this back area of the pavilion. We can’t wait to see them light up at night!

Thus far, only a few snowflakes are up, but you can see the lights embedded into them.

So Fun!

They line this back street and lead the way over to the delicious treats at Les Halles. It’s almost as if the snowflakes are calling you to go grab some desserts and croissants. Hey, you don’t have to beg us to go eat some tasty snacks!

There Are Just a Few

Again, the rest of EPCOT is still on “normal” mode, but we expect that more holiday decorations will arrive in the upcoming days and weeks.

How Fun Are These?!

The real holiday fun in EPCOT will kick off on November 25th (the day after Thanksgiving) at which point the International Festival of the Holidays will begin!

During the Festival, there will be appearances by Santa and all kinds of storytellers, food booths with lots of delicious items to try, a cookie challenge, and much more! To see the full list of booths coming to the Festival of the Holidays, click here.
