Going to Disney World every day will help you learn a thing or two.

From learning what I need in my park bag to the best places to watch fireworks, I have a lot of knowledge that was earned by sometimes making some questionable choices. I also have made some…interesting outfit choices in my time so now I want to share with you what I wear when I go to Disney World!
From horrible chafing to bad shoe choices, I’ve made all the mistakes! I wish that was a joke but I have seriously learned the hard way what not to wear to Disney World. While it might not seem that serious, it is! A bad choice can impact your entire park day so we’re breaking down what I think are your best options for a park day in Walt Disney World.

Tops
To start, I always pick my shirt first and build around that. For me, I like to focus on being comfortable while looking cute. Normally, that means a soft t-shirt like this purple Spaceship Earth Pumpkin Vibes Shirt.

This shirt is from our friends over at the Disney Food Blog and you can grab your own for $29.99.

If you’re not feeling a t-shirt though, I also like a good plain tank top to have as an option. This Sleeveless Basic Cami Top comes in a ton of colors which makes it super versatile.

Whether I want to Disney Bound as Minnie Mouse or wear an outfit inspired by Tower of Terror, this comfy tank has me covered. You can grab one for $18.99.

While these aren’t my only options, of course, when building my parks outfit I always start here. Once I’ve chosen the perfect top, the perfect bottoms have to come next!

Bottoms
Again for me, a good park outfit is all about mixing comfortable and cute! I have been in a Disney park stuck with an outfit that was super uncomfortable because I didn’t choose the right skirt, pants, or shorts. My favorite leggings online are these Colorfulkoala High Waisted Leggings.

These leggings are the softest I’ve found online and for only $22.99, you might catch me in them every day.

This same brand also has some of my favorite High Waisted Bike Shorts for only $19.99.

Both of these options help me stay comfortable and they’re neutral so they go with almost anything! Another pro tip is if you’re wearing a skirt without built-in shorts, these bike shorts hide well under your skirt while preventing chafing.

However, not every day is only about comfort! Sometimes when I’m looking to add a little extra flair to my park outfits, I love to go with a skirt that’s cute yet functional.

This Women’s Tennis Skirt with Inner Shorts is perfect for a long park day and the inner shorts help with functionality when it comes to getting in and out of ride vehicles. You can grab one for $30.99.

Shoes
Another major part of getting through your park day successfully is choosing the right footwear. If you take away nothing else I’ve said in the post, take away this: The wrong shoes can ruin your Disney trip! Walking several miles in bad shoes can seriously impact your day so that’s why I go with shoes like these On Running Women’s Trainers.

While these shoes are on the pricey-er side of things at $175.70, I have to say they are the best shoes I’ve ever worn in Disney World. They are super comfortable and they made walking the parks every day a lot easier.

However, if you’re like me and you can’t always spend a pretty penny on just tennis shoes, I also love these Adidas Women’s Cloudfoam Running Shoe.

These shoes are also super comfortable and at $48.99, they are much more affordable. (I’m literally wearing them with my Cinderella outfit above.)

While this may seem like a lot of thought for just an outfit, it really is important to have an outfit that you can wear for hours in the heat and rain without getting too uncomfortable.
