PHOTOS: One EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival Topiary Got An UPGRADE!

Not only does the festival have some fun activities, great entertainment, and delicious eats and drinks, but what makes it unlike any other EPCOT festival are the Disney character topiaries you can find all over the park! And, while the festival has been in full swing for a month already, we spotted something NEW today!

If you’ve already been to the festival, you’ve probably seen the character topiaries on your way into World Showcase featuring Mickey and Minnie. And, if you’ve looked real close, you may have noticed that it looks like Minnie is missing something in her right hand.

What should be in Minnie’s hand?

Well, it turns out that she WAS supposed to be holding something and it arrived today — a watering can! Pretty fitting for the festival itself.

Minnie now has a watering can.

And, you’ll want to take a closer look as you pass by because the bright blue and gold watering can has the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary logo on it!

Up to this point, the Goofy topiary at the entrance to the park has been the only one paying tribute to the resort’s big anniversary.

He’s holding a 50th anniversary cake!
