Disclosure: We were invited by Disney to attend a media event about the upcoming Magic Kingdom entertainment offerings. This did not affect our reporting of the event — our opinions are our own.
But one lesser-known show is also coming back to Magic Kingdom soon. In fact, if you haven’t accidentally stumbled upon this show, you might not even know it existed! It’s one of our favorite secrets about this park, and it’s returning SOON.
The Frontierland Hoedown is returning to Magic Kingdom on February 11th!
This Hoedown isn’t your average Disney World show. It’s actually more like a flashmob (remember when those were a huge thing?), where Cast Members and characters come out at random and start dancing!
Some of the characters you might see here are Br’er Bear, Br’er Fox, Br’er Rabbit, Clarabelle Cow, Horace Horsecollar, and the Country Bears.
When the show was running before, there wasn’t a set schedule available on the Times Guide, because it was a surprise every time.

This show happens over by Country Bear Jamboree and Pecos Bill’s Tall Tale Inn and Café. Disney has said that it will be modified for safety when it returns next month, so we’ll let you know as soon as we hear more details about how this hoedown has changed.
