A lot has changed at Disney World over the past year.

We’ve seen as health and safety measures have been relaxed, restaurants and attractions have reopened, fireworks have returned, and more! And, while guests have been able to greet characters from afar over the past year and a half, we now have an update on how these character interactions will be changing!
Disney has announced that they will be introducing new themed locations where guests can get “individualized time” with characters and snap a few photos. So, you won’t have to wave from afar anymore!

The new locations for these modified meet and greets will include:
- Princess Fairytale Hall in Magic Kingdom where guests can meet Disney Princesses.
- Town Square Theater in Magic Kingdom where guests can meet Mickey Mouse in his new 50th anniversary EARidescent look.
- Red Carpet Dreams in Disney’s Hollywood Studios where guests can meet Minnie Mouse.
- Animation Courtyard in Disney’s Hollywood Studios where guests can meet the stars of Disney Junior.

Disney hasn’t shared an exact date that these new experiences will be available, but we do know that they’ll be opening sometime in November! And, of course, the character cavalcades, motorcades, flotillas, and other distanced meet and greets will continue throughout the park as well.

We’ll keep an eye out for more updates and bring you a first look at these new meet and greet experiences when they debut, so stay tuned to AllEars for more!

Who is your favorite Disney character? Let us know in the comments!
And it will only cost you 50$ per person to meet and take a selfie with your favorite Disney character! Magical! 😂
Will photopass photographers be at the meet and greets?
Given the current way of squeezing every last cent out of visitors, would anyone be surprised if they started charging for these individual meet and greet opportunities?
This is great news! I just it happens early November, my daughter loves Princess Tiana and Minnie Mouse it would be awesome if she could get pictures with them! My favorite character is Marie
I hope the little ones will be able to get up close to the characters like they use too. The kids love that and if they cannot they will be very disappointed and I think that will not be good for Disney!
I doubt that will happen with face characters for a while unless the vaccine gets approved for everyone (including pre-schoolers). Now the cartoon characters that are not face characters (Mickey, Goofy, etc.) should be able to get closer to kids since they can wear a mask under their headpiece (let alone they do work for Disney and are already vaccinated).
Elsa and Anna
It looks like all the cool stuff happening at Disney is beginning in November, I wish I could change my week in October to November now
