NEWS! Park Pass Reservations Are Now Unavailable For Disney’s Hollywood Studios Over Labor Day Weekend

Whether you’re nervously attempting to get a boarding pass for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance or running off to Slinky Dog Dash, Disney’s Hollywood Studios has a lot of fun attractions for families to experience.

But if you’re trying to get into Hollywood Studios over Labor Day weekend and don’t already have a Park Pass reservation, it appears you will have to adjust your plans.

In order to enter a Disney theme park, you must have a Disney Park Pass Reservation for the park you wish to visit on a particular day, in addition to a ticket for that park for the same day.

Park Pass reservation availability varies depending on what kind of guest or ticket holder you are. There is different availability for Disney Resort Guests, Annual Passholders, and Theme Park Tickets Guests.

Park pass reservations for all types of guests, however, are currently unavailable for the Saturday and Sunday of Labor Day Weekend, September 5th and 6th. In fact, Park Pass reservations for Annual Passholders for September 5th are unavailable for all parks, and Park Pass reservations for Annual Passholders for September 6th and 7th are also unavailable for all parks except EPCOT. We’ll take it day by day to show you the impact.

September 5th

Disney Park Pass reservations for Theme Park Tickets Guests for Disney’s Hollywood Studios are not available for September 5th, while reservations for the other parks are still available at the moment.

The availability was the same for Disney Resort Guests, with only Disney’s Hollywood Studios appearing as unavailable at the moment for September 5th.

Annual Passholders, however, are in a worse position. Park Pass reservations for all four theme parks are unavailable for Annual Passholders on September 5th.

Unavailability of Park Pass reservations is not a new issue for Annual Passholders. In the past, we have seen more Park Pass reservations become available to Annual Passholders after periods of unavailability. Seeing as Hollywood Studios is unavailable for all guests on September 5th, it seems unlikely that more passes for that park will become available to Annual Passholders, but we will certainly let you know if we hear any more updates.

September 6th

…and Annual Passholders. It appears that Park Pass reservations for Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom are also unavailable for Annual Passholders on September 6th. Only Park Pass reservations for EPCOT are currently available for Annual Passholders for September 6th.

Again, it is unclear if any of this will change in the future and if more Park Pass reservations will become available, so we will let you know if we get any more updates on that.

September 7th

On Labor Day itself, Park Pass reservations for all parks are currently available for Disney Resort Guests…

Annual Passholders, however, are currently unable to make Park Pass reservations for Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios on September 7th.

Again, we’ve seen Park Pass availability change in the past, so we’ll let you know if we see any changes in the future.
