Walt Disney World guests are currently required to make Park Pass reservations in order to enter the theme parks.
Disney has implemented this system to limit the theme parks’ capacity. For Annual Passholders, reservations have been filling up quickly. Passholder reservations for Disney’s Hollywood Studios are currently unavailable for the rest of August. We’ve been keeping our eye on the calendar to note any significant changes, like increased availability and holiday capacity.
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is a popular event held at the Magic Kingdom every year. Due to the global health crisis, the party was canceled this year. Despite the canceled event, Annual Passholder reservations are completely booked for the Magic Kingdom on October 31st.
The party may not be happening, but the Magic Kingdom will still be decorated for fall. Perhaps this is what attracted Annual Passholders to book one of their three Park Pass reservations for the night of Halloween. As of right now, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and EPCOT are open on October 31st for all guests, including Passholders.
We will continue to check the Park Pass website and monitor any further availability or full capacities. We will also update you regarding the status of Disney World’s future holiday events.
