Halloween this year is seeing some pretty big changes in and out of the parks.
While the Oogie Boogie Bash in Disneyland and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Disney World have both been canceled, we’ve still seen a sneak peek of the Halloween merchandise coming to the parks. Plus, Pumpkin Spice Lattes will be returning later this month (and we couldn’t be happier)!
Multiple Cast Members we talked to in Magic Kingdom today let us know that Disney would still be decorating for Halloween this year, despite its events being canceled! Although the decoration dates haven’t been announced to Cast Members, Disney has yet to release any information about additional holiday experiences.
However, they do expect that the decorations will be done in segments instead of the overnight transformation we’ve seen in the past. Last year, we saw Halloween decor spook up the parks over a few days at a time. While you might see a pumpkin here or a banner there at a time, we honestly cannot WAIT to see the frightening fun that will still be making its way to Disney World.
Even though Cast Members have confirmed Disney’s plans to decorate the park, things can always change. While we explore the newly reopened parks, we’ll keep an eye out for any Halloween entertainment coming soon!
