This Popular Disney World Hotel KEEPS Having Massive Issues!

Disney World vacations can be so exciting and magical. However, sometimes hiccups and issues are just unavoidable.

And there is one Disney World Resort that has been having many issues recently. That’s right, we are talking about Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, which is experiencing another BIG problem.

UPDATE: As of 3 PM on August 10th, the water is back on in some rooms at Boulder Ridge although it is still not working across most of the building.

Several weeks ago, the Air Conditioning went out for several days at Wilderness Lodge. It was a very big issue that left guests upset. Especially because this AC outage occurred in the heat of summer, making the Florida heat inescapable for guests at the resort. Thankfully, this issue was completely fixed after a few days.

However, we just found out that now the water is out in parts of this hotel.  In the Boulder Ridge section of the hotel, which is the Disney Vacation Club area,  the water is out in the entire building.

When we went to the hotel to check on this, we found that water had been out for over a day, since the evening of August 8th. This means no showers or bathrooms were operational. We even saw that the Boulder Ridge pool area was open for any guests that wanted to rinse off in the pool showers, since their showers were unavailable.

Cast Members were very apologetic when we spoke with them and were doing their best to help and accommodate all the guests experiencing the water outage. They are also working with anyone checking in to move them to either a different location at Wilderness Lodge or another comparable hotel on property.
