Many major films like Mulan and Tenet delayed release dates which caused a major delay in reopening AMC movie theatres as well. Disney has moved Mulan to release exclusively on Disney+. Now, according to CNN, over 100 AMC movie theatres will reopen on August 20th — all of which will be offering deeply discounted tickets.

Opening day will welcome back movie guests with ticket prices costing 15 cents. The company stated that they wanted to commemorate the occasion by offering “movies in 2020 at 1920 prices.” After opening day, many movies will cost $5.
