Our party of 3 ate here on 1/25/16. After checking in we waited about 10 minutes.

After placing our drink order we headed to the buffet. It was very impressive. Love the yogurt and fresh fruits. My daughter ate so many strawberries. Also a nice pastry selection. Then our food came. Yum. The eggs were your standard eggs. We all loved the potato casserole.

It was a nice pace that you could actually eat and visit with the princesses. My 4 year old daughter loved it. We did the princess parade twice. We met Belle, Cinderella, Ariel, Aurora, and Mulan.

Our only negative was our server. She wasn't very attentive. We asked for refills and after waiting 15 minutes asked another server who finally brought them for us.

Overall I highly recommend if your little ones want to meet the princesses.

Pros:

Food, characters, theming

Cons:

Server

This is our favorite place for breakfast in all of Disney World. We had a party of 6 with one 8 year old princess among us. She loves getting to meet each princess and participating in the royal princess procession. The food doesn't disappoint either. Between the items on the cold side and the hot plate that you get to share, it is fabulous! Our favorites are the potatoes that come on the hot plate. We will definitely return!

Pros:

Princesses, Food, Atmosphere

The first time we went here my daughter was 3 . She was treated like a "real" princess. Pictures, autographs, hugs ,the works ! We went back three other times and each time the same expierience even had Snow White and Jasmine sing Happy Birthday to her when she was 4! Now 14 we went last spring, she ASKED for this breakfast. It was like she was 3 again. This spring we will be going back to WDW and again she asked for this meal !!!You know it's being done right when a teenage girl asks for something she did when she was 3-7!! Breakfast is great -lunch I wasn't a fan ,but breakfast is great. You have to remember that this is Norweigen food, not the local diner! !! If you have little girls, of any age ,this is the place to be. By far it has been and is one of the highlights of our trips!!

Pros:

food,princesses

Party of 3 had ADR for breakfast. Walkimg through Epcot with little to no crowds early in the morning was fun!

Was able to check-in for ADR then explore the Norway Shop. Upon entering the restaurant my daughter had her picture taken with Belle(part of package price of breakfast-NICE). Then was seated quickly, to a wonderful window seat. There is a big plate of food brought to your table for "family style", eggs, potates, sausage and bacon. Food was hot, fresh and you can get as many of those dishes as the table wants. There is also a decent buffet to chose from with cereal, bagels, pastries, yogurt etc.

Interaction with the princesses was not rushed each princess talked and took pics with my daughter and the adults. Very nice. half way through the breakfast there is a "princess parade", which was cute. My daughter did not participate in that, feeling a bit too mature, but the little princesses and princes were very cute marching around the room. No worries that you might miss a princess, they always come back to the tables.

This breakfast usually gets high marks with my family, we have been to it many times and will do it again next year. Good food and fun with the princesses. Belle(first picture session only), Cinderella, Ariel, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty.

Beats standing in line to meet them or use a fast pass+. Same amount of interaction time.

BEST PRINCESS DINING IN WDW!!!!!

Everything

This is such an overpriced meal, but it is a favorite of little princesses-to-be everywhere! The food is fine, the buffet has some fruit, pastries, and Nordic meats and fish, and the hot foods brought to the table were okay - potatoes, eggs, sausage, and bacon. The face time with the princesses and the princess parade are what makes this meal so special.

Pros:

The princesses!

Cons:

The price!

Akershus is one of our 'must do' breakfasts during our annual Disney trips. The food is amazing and the princesses very sweet and attentive. I never fail to tear up as I watch my DD parade around the restaurant and curtsey at the end! Highly recommended!

Pros:

Great food, Princesses were very attentive

Let me start where most do, the potatoes, which are worth the price alone. They are unreal. The rest of the food is also excellent. And if your little one (or, admit it, you too) love the princesses, this is a great way to see them. We got to see Aurora, Snow White, Ariel, Cinderella, and of course Belle. They were all very nice and took their time with our little one. Belle was especially great.

If I had one complaint, it is waiting to get in is a pain with a little one. You are in a little corral area waiting your turn, and then you wait in another line for entry. Maybe a pager system would make it a bit better, but when you are getting the free picture with a princess, you expect to wait a little. Overall just a great experience, and we will be back.

Pros:

Princesses, Potatoes

Cons:

Wait to get in

4 adults and 2 children for breakfast went very well. We got 2 pictures with Belle, one with DGD and one with all of us. Very friendly and not rushed. Seated early and food came right out. All of us enjoyed the buffet options, some unique and different things along with the traditional. The family style platter brought to the table was cleaned pretty quickly by my hungry crew but our waitress was right there to offer seconds. We all ate too much! The princesses were right there and very charming. All were pleased to see the large books and each had her own page to sign. They were gracious about signing our little prince's book as well, even if he didn't want to be seen with them! The price was very reasonable and we would do it again

princesses, food, service

Food was just OK, not huge portions.
Don't go for the food, go for meeting the princesses.

Pros:

Princesses were very friendly

Cons:

Should keep the doors closed in the heat of the day

We loved it here. The princesses were great and did not take long to get to our table. The food was good. Even my picky eater found a few things to eat which is rare. Our waiter was in training and spilled a whole cup of iced tea on my daughter. We felt bad for him because he was so nervous. Glad it happened to us and not anyone else since we are easy going. He apologized several times. We will definitely come back here again in the future.

Pros:

food and princesses
