Soarin’ to Tower, we are ready for takeoff! The all-new Soarin’ Across America is now open at EPCOT!

Soarin’ Across America celebrates the 250th Anniversary of the U.S.! This brand-new version of Soarin’ takes guests across both coasts of the U.S., highlighting some of the country’s iconic landscapes and cityscapes. Think sweeping natural beauty, recognizable skylines, and a heavy dose of Americana!
When we got to EPCOT in the morning, the crowds were actually very mild! We rope dropped this morning and did not notice anything out of the ordinary when it comes to EPCOT rope drop crowds.

Then, we headed over to Soarin’ Across America! When we got there, the line was only 5 minutes, and it was not overly crowded. It did not feel like everyone was racing over to Soarin’ to experience the new version on opening day.

We decided to hang around for a bit to see if the rope drop crowds showed up, and as the park was open for longer, more people definitely made their way over. However, the crowds still aren’t crazy, and as of 10:45 AM, the line was only a 45-minute wait!

Lots of people did get to experience this attraction during previews, as well as a soft opening a few days ago, and since this is just a re-theme, it doesn’t seem to be setting off the new attraction bug that has everyone racing to ride.

We really enjoy this attraction; it is more peaceful and low-key than the two iterations that came before. However, we really loved the emphasis on the beautiful nature and landscapes of America. And the opening scene with the Rocket launching, really is breathtaking. While this new version can’t quite top our beloved Soarin’ Over California, it’s a fun new addition to EPCOT, and we can’t wait for everyone to experience it now that it is officially open!

We had so much fun on the opening day of Soarin’ Across America. Stay tuned to AllEars for more Disney World news!
