Why Monday Will Be A BUSY Day in Disney’s Hollywood Studios

There’s a lot happening in Disney World over the next few days (then again, let’s be honest, when is there not?), and if you’re traveling, we think it’s essential that you’re prepared!

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad reopens in Magic Kingdom this weekend, but the fun doesn’t stop there; it just moves to a different park! This Monday, May 4th, is going to be a pretty wild day in Disney’s Hollywood Studios for one reason, and one reason only — Star Wars Day!

On April 23rd, Disney released a whole blog post about what we can expect to see come to the park for this special day that many Star Wars fans look forward to each year. Seeing as that Galaxy’s Edge is located inside Hollywood Studios, this is usually the most popular park for Star Wars fans on May 4th each year. 

There are 11 special Star Wars snacks coming to Hollywood Studios for this special day, including, but certainly not limited to:

• Pink Milk: Plant-based rice milk blend with sweet and fruity characteristics (Non-alcoholic) (NEW) at the Milk Stand

• Kamino Cooler Served in DJ R-3x Souvenir Mug: Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Bols Blue Curaçao Liqueur, passion fruit syrup, DOLE Pineapple Juice, and lime juice (NEW) at Oga’s Cantina

• Ettel Nuts: Assortment of sweet, spicy, and queso fundido nuts with chocolate candy rocks​ (NEW) at various beverage carts around Galaxy’s Edge

• Your Chosen Path Cupcake: Cookies and cream cupcake, marshmallow buttercream, white chocolate X-Wing, and milk chocolate rocks. Inside the cupcake, a secret lightsaber color will reveal itself (NEW) at Backlot Express

To check out all the new snacks coming to the park, you’ll want to check out our post here! That’s not all, though, because special souvenirs and collectibles are also on their way, such as the Salvaged Protocol Droid Bucket, Bantha Sipper, DJ R-3X Mug, Jabba’s Sail Barge Bucket, and more!

We’re also expecting to see special merchandise hit the Vacation Fun area of Hollywood Studios (yes, not inside Galaxy’s Edge), as Disney recently closed the theater to transform it for the experience. Keep an eye out, though, because other exclusive merchandise may arrive in other areas of the park as well — we’ll be sure to update you on what we see!
