In ONE MONTH, A Major Ride Change Hits Disney World

Ah, Disney World. Full of construction projects, refurbishments, and so much more, all happening at one time!

One of the changes we’re anticipating the most is coming soon to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and this is your reminder that we’re only ONE month away. Yes, that’s right — Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets opens in just one month!

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets officially opens to the public on May 26th, and in this new version of the ride, guests’ VIP passes will get them in to see Electric Mayhem in the studios at G-Force Records with Kermit and Miss Piggy. However, the band has been rocking out so hard that they lost track of time and are running late for their big show at a musical festival, so it’s time to put the pedal to the metal!

When you ride, you’ll hear one of five songs — just like it used to be in the Aerosmith version!

• “Song 2” — The Electric Mayhem (made famous by Blur)
• “Born To Be Wild” — The Electric Mayhem featuring Camilla the Chicken (made famous by Steppenwolf)
• “Love Rollercoaster” – The Electric Mayhem ft. Jennifer Hudson & Questlove
• “Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop)” – The Electric Mayhem ft. Def Leppard
• “Walking on Sunshine” – The Electric Mayhem ft. Kelly Clarkson

We’ll also get to see numerous celebrity guests! While we don’t know where they’ll be in the ride yet, we do know we’ll see Awkwafina, Danny Trejo, Darren Criss, John Stamos, Neil Patrick Harris, Travis Barker, Yvette Nicole Brown, Wayne Brady, and “Weird Al” Yankovic.

In a recent behind the scenes look of the new ride, we also got to see easter eggs we know will be around the queue and the ride itself! We spotted the Gonzo statue from the original Muppet movie, the yellow plane and “The Great Gonzo” banner that flew behind it, tons of rubber chickens, and even Gonzo’s hat from The Muppets Christmas Carol.
