Whew! It’s been a busy two evenings here for the AllEars team!

Recently, we experienced the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party of the year, and we also attended the first Jollywood Nights! At both of these events, there are loads of rare characters to meet, but there was one we just met, and we’ve now decided we don’t want to meet him ANY other way!
OK, so first, let’s give you a bit of background. The Mandalorian roams Galaxy’s Edge throughout the day in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. While that’s great, that means there’s typically a large crowd around him…and it’s hard to get a photo with him since he can’t really stop for traditional meet-and-greet photos.

However, at Jollywood Nights, he visited the party with Grogu, and his appearance was formatted like a traditional meet-and-greet in a spot close to Ronto Roasters! The Mandalorian also had a dedicated PhotoPass photographer with him, and since PhotoPass photos are included with your party ticket, you can download them from the Disney World app at no additional fee!

Emma said that this is how she would prefer to meet the Mandalorian every time from now on — his line moved SO fast, and there were very few people back there. It was much less anxiety-inducing, Emma explained, and we think that this kind of character experience also results in better, non-rushed photos. That’s a nice perk!
