We’re reporting from Disney’s Hollywood Studios as we attend the second annual Disney Jollywood Nights holiday party. There’s music. There’s food. There are characters. There are fashion ICONS. It’s a blast! Now, wanna see something NEW this year?
OK, we’ll admit it. We love the Muppets. Miss Piggy is simply a STAR. Naturally, we had to go and check out the special Muppets-hosted show happening during the party, Disney Holidays in Hollywood. Yes, we cheered when we saw Kermit. But after the show, we wanted a little more Muppets magic. So, where did we go?
Shh!! There’s a secret photo op hiding in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You can recreate a scene from an iconic Disney holiday movie by stepping into the film, and it is none other than The Muppet Christmas Carol. YES!
Disney’s new The Muppet Christmas Carol photo op is located inside the Stage 1 Company Store. It’s located near MuppetVision 3-D — be sure to check it out!
This is a super cool experience with a ROBOTIC ARM that works the camera! It was epic, and we couldn’t recommend it enough.
We also tried out the photo opportunity set up in Animation Courtyard, which was SO much fun!
The backdrop was so fun, and we loved how colorful it was. You’ll find this in the former Disney Studio Store in the Animaiton Courtyard — it’s hard to miss!
Looking for more new things to do at Jollywood Nights this year? There’s a LOT to see and do! Make sure to check out “Glisten!,” a new ice skating show on Hollywood Boulevard with international champion skaters.
Oh, and there’s also a new Pixar-themed dance party with characters like Joy, Frozone, Edna Mode, and more.
Of course, there’s plenty of food, too! We had to get the Duffy Brownie over at Ice Cold Hydraulics and were not disappointed!
