It’s finally here!
Tonight is the first night of Jollywood Nights in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and we couldn’t be more excited! Disney introduced this party for the first time back in 2023 and we’re thrilled it’s back for another year. While it did have some issues starting out last year, Disney quickly worked them out and we’re hoping to see a more solid start this year. We’re here LIVE on the first night of the party bringing you all the latest news, so let’s dive in!
Keep checking back for updates throughout the night!
Overview
Jollywood Nights is a separately ticketed event that takes place on select nights in Hollywood Studios from November 9th through December 21st. While you can enter the park as early as 6PM, the party officially runs from 7:30PM-12:30AM. Tickets range from $159 to $179 per person, depending on the date.
Since this is a separately ticketed event, you’ll have to purchase a regular park ticket if you’d like to enter Hollywood Studios before 6PM, or to visit another park before heading to the party. And speaking of the party, let’s get started!
Entrance
When we entered, it was around right around 5:45PM. Last year, lines to receive your wristbands were incredibly long and were actually one of the longest lines we experienced all evening. This year, they were still long and moved slower than over at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, but it wasn’t too bad! We also noticed that there’s a second entrance to the party that wasn’t being used last year over by where you typically exit Fantasmic!
We got our wristbands and headed into the park, which was still relatively full with people since regular park day guests were just leaving. Around 6:15PM, this is what Sunset Boulevard looked like.
We veered off to the side and took a look at our map, which is the best resource to use to tell you what you can experience that night. On it you’ll find a list of all the attractions you can enjoy, photo opportunities, snacks and items exclusive to the party, and so much more.
We strongly suggest taking a look at your map before the party really begins and starting to make a game plan on what you’d like to experience!
The night goes by quickly, so you’ll want to be sure you have time to experience all that you can!
Food
One of the most exciting parts about after hours events are the exclusive eats you can experience only during party hours. There are TONS of different options to explore here, and we grabbed as many of them as we could! We’ve got a whole post dedicated to our reviews, but here are some of our favorites so far!
- Cauliflower Taco from ABC Commissary
- Taco ’bout a Holiday Cookie from ABC Commissary
- Duffy Brownie at Ice Cold Hydraulics
There’s also a special table service dining opportunity over at the Hollywood Brown Derby in the form of Jazzy Holidays. Advance dining reservations are highly recommended for this event!

Entertainment
Don’t forget about the fun shows and additional experiences you can only see at this event!
Glisten!
This all-new show is an ice skating spectacular on Hollywood Boulevard where international champion skaters perform incredible routines to holiday favorites! It happens at 8:15 PM, 9:15 PM, 10:30 PM, 11:15 PM and 12:15 AM each night.
This is such a fun show, and we think the dancing and skating is really impressive! We definitely think it’s worth stopping by during one of the many performances throughout the night.
What’s This? Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along
If you’re a big fan of The Nightmare Before Christmas, you’ll definitely want to stop by the What’s This? Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along!
This is a fun sing-along that is hosted by two Cast Members as they take you through the story and some of the most iconic songs from the film, and you’ll even get to see Oogie Boogie and Jack Skellington!
We’ll continue updating this post as we experience this first night of the party, so stay tuned to AllEars!
Disney Holidays in Hollywood
Over at Theater of the Stars, where the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along typically is, you can find the adorable Disney Holidays in Hollywood show. If you’re a fan of the Muppets, you cannot miss this one!
It’s super cute, and you also get to see some of your other favorite Disney pals as they sing and dance to some classic and jazzy holiday songs.
Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!
Right on the Chinese Theater, you can also catch the “fireworks” show of the evening, which is Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!
It’s a super cute show that features some of your favorite Disney and Pixar characters with a fun holiday twist. It only plays one time each night at 10PM!
Pixar Place Dance Party
If you’re looking to have the time of your life with some Pixar characters, the Pixar Place Dance Party is the place to be!
We got to see Frozone, Joy, Sadness, Mike Wazowski, and Edna Mode over in Pixar Place hanging out with guests, and we loved the tunes the DJ was playing too!
Seriously, we highly recommend stopping by — it was SO fun!
Twilight Soirée at the Tip Top Club
If you’re looking for a real jazzy night, be sure to stop by the Twilight Soirée at the Tip Top Club! While you can grab drinks here, you can also just enjoy some fantastic live entertainment.
We definitely think it’s worth stopping by, but if you’ve got tons on your list to experience, we don’t suggest spending longer than a half hour or so here (and the earlier you get there, the better — it can sometimes fill up fast!).
Character Meet and Greets
We can’t forget about the special character meet and greets, of course! At this event you can meet rare characters like:
- Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Pluto, and Goofy with never-before-seen backdrops and NEW costumes
- Powerline Max
- Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket
- Baloo and King Louie (near Backlot Express)
- Chip ‘n’ Dale
- Phineas and Ferb
- Lotso
- Burt and Mr. Penguin
- Mary Poppins
- Frozone
- The Mandalorian & Grogu
- Bo Peep
- Santa Duffy (who had QUITE the long line between 70-90 minutes when the event began, so keep an eye out for that! But it DRASTICALLY dropped to 20 minutes at the end of the night, so don’t go first thing!)
- Santa Stitch (who is meeting in Olaf’s typical spot and also had a long line at the start!)
- José Carioca and Panchito at Holiday Fiesta en la Calle in Animation Courtyard
- More!
Merchandise
Certain merchandise is only available during the event as well, so you’ll want to be sure you grab that before your party night ends. Some of our personal favorite items are the special ears…
…the Spirit Jersey…
…and the adorable Lug bag!
But there’s way more where that came from — check out our post below detailing ALL the merchandise you can find!
Check out ALL the Jollywood Nights merchandise here!
But there’s one more souvenir you can get at the very end of the night that won’t cost you anything! As you leave the party, you’ll receive a FREE Wondermade Treat in this adorable packaging themed to the party.
These are 6 champagne flavored marshmallows, but no need to worry — there’s no actual alcohol in them, so kids can enjoy them as well if they don’t mind the flavor.
And that’s everything we experienced at Jollywood Nights last night! Stay tuned to AllEars for all the latest holiday news in Disney World!

Rather have the coaster again or an ornament or pin than the marshmallows as a parting gift. Can’t eat the marshmallows. Disappointing. Hope the rest of the party offerings will be better for us than last year.
