It’s here! Disney is rolling out the red carpet for one SPECIAL group of Disney fans, and we’re here to see and do it ALL! Calling all Annual Passholders: this one’s for YOU.
The 2024 V.I.Passholder Days event is BACK, people! During the event, Passholders have access to extra discounts, special merchandise (like a Passholder MAGNET!), photo ops, and more. One of the most exciting perks is an exclusive LOUNGE in EPCOT! Wanna see? Let’s go!
An exclusive Annual Passholder lounge is open NOW for V.I.Passholder Days. The lounge opened on May 1st, 2024, and you can find it in the EPCOT World Showcase at Restaurant Marrakesh in the Moroccan Pavilion.
The restaurant is not currently open, so this space remains closed most of the year. But every once in a while, this spot will open up as a lounge or relaxation space for EPCOT visitors.
The lounge will be open now through June 18th, 2024. It will be open daily from 12PM–8PM. We stopped by for the first time! After checking in, we waited about 30 minutes before gaining access to the lounge.
When our time came, we received a text message letting us know we would be contacted when there was additional availability. After about ten minutes, we got a text and headed inside!
Inside the lounge, we enjoyed some complimentary snacks and drinks.
The Moroccan Mint Tea is a delicious, thematically appropriate option.
The lounge offers charging stations to charge your mobile devices, too.
There’s even a meet-and-greet opportunity inside! During our visit, we got to see the Genie from Aladdin. How FUN! Note that the character meet-and-greet is subject to change, so there’s no guarantee who you might see.
This new lounge is so fun! It’s a great escape from the crowds and offers a nice spot to cool off. In the meantime, we’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more.
