There’s been lots of exciting news surrounding one of EPCOT’s upcoming attractions.
At the D23 Expo, it was announced that a large version of Te Fiti will be in the Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana attraction, which has an opening timeline sometime in late 2023. We keep an eye on the construction every time we visit EPCOT, so we’ve got the most up-to-date photos for you right here.
As a reminder, Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana will be a walk-through attraction featuring interactive elements based on Moana, such as an exploration trail and a variety of water features.
Most recently, we’ve seen the rockwork set up in the construction area being painted. While each rock was originally gray, we’re now beginning to see them painted brown, darker grays, and more.
As you can see, part of the trail is really starting to come together! We’re looking forward to seeing more of the exhibit come together as construction continues.
