Reminder, if you’re heading to Disney World over the next few days: Changes are coming to one of EPCOT’s premier attractions, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.

The mega-popular trackless dark ride — based on the 2007 Pixar film — has been a guest favorite and drawn huge lines since making its U.S. debut in EPCOT’s World Showcase France Pavilion in 2021. However, beginning on November 10th, those crowds will need to enjoy another attraction for the next several days, as Remy’s is closing for a brief refurbishment that will see the ride’s 3D elements removed. The ride is scheduled to reopen on November 14th.
Specifically, according to Disney, the reopened ride with return with “enhanced digital visuals and clearer imagery projected in 2D.” This development will likely be welcomed by many fans, as the ride’s 3D visuals and clunky glasses were some of the biggest complaints about the attraction.

Furthermore, Disney also says that new props and lighting enhancements will be added to the attraction and its queue over the next few months.

A similar process is also underway at the original version of the attraction – Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy – at the Disneyland Paris Resort. The original will see the aforementioned 2D conversion, as well as a refurbishment, technical upgrades, and additional scenic enhancements, and is scheduled to reopen in the Spring of 2026.

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at EPCOT will be closed from November 10th through the 13th, as the attraction undergoes a refurbishment that includes the transition from 3D to enhanced 2D visuals. Stay tuned to AllEars for more.
