Our team has spent a lot of time in EPCOT recently, and we can’t help but notice there are 3 issues in the France Pavilion. We’re here to help you avoid some disappointment with our expert tips.

Our AllEars team is in the Disney Parks daily, and from that, we get to experience some issues. Of course, not everything goes according to plan, even at Disney World! But from that, we get to learn lessons to help you, our readers, tackle these common problems.
1. The Elusive (and Enormous) Croissant
Over at Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie, you can find the new Croiss Oh La La. This is a warm, buttery pastry that quickly became a fan favorite for breakfast or a mid-morning treat. But lately, this HUGE croissant has been harder to find. You see, this snack has become so popular that it sells out QUICKLY! The good news? It’s still worth hunting down. When it’s in stock, this croissant lives up to the hype with its crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and large enough to share (if you want to).

AllEars Tip: If you’re hoping to snag one, plan to head to Les Halles first thing in the morning. This bakery opens earlier than most of World Showcase, typically around 8:30 AM, even before the rest of the pavilions open at 11. According to a Cast Member, the croissants are often gone by 10:30 AM, so make it your first stop if this treat is a must on your list. Grab a coffee while you’re there and enjoy a quiet moment before the crowds fill in.

2. The Long Line for Ice Cream
If you’ve ever visited France on a warm afternoon, you’ve likely noticed one thing: the line for L’Artisan des Glaces stretches far beyond the door. This charming ice cream shop serves up some of the richest, most flavorful scoops in all of Disney World, but the secret is definitely out. The line can feel endless, especially under the midday Florida sun.

Still, trust us, the wait is worth it. I won’t lie to you, this is one of my must-dos at EPCOT every single trip. The flavors range from caramel fleur de sel, coconut white chocolate, and mango sorbet, and are worth every minute. If you want to take it up a notch, try one of their famous ice cream macaron sandwiches or the indulgent ice cream martini.

AllEars Tip: If you want to skip the worst of the crowds, head to L’Artisan right at opening, around 12 PM, or later in the evening, after the dinner rush, and when the sun isn’t as intense. Many guests head straight there in the heat of the afternoon, so timing is everything. You’ll enjoy shorter lines and cooler temperatures for your sweet treat.

3. The Challenge of Riding Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
Ever since Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure opened, it’s been one of the most in-demand rides in EPCOT. The trackless dark ride brings guests into Remy’s world in a delightful mix of 3D effects and whimsical storytelling, but that popularity comes with a cost. Even years after opening, it remains one of the hardest attractions to rope drop or grab a Lightning Lane for. If you’re planning your EPCOT day around riding with the little chef, strategy is key.

AllEars Tip: Guests staying at a Skyliner Resort (like Disney’s Riviera Resort, Caribbean Beach, or Pop Century) or in the BoardWalk area (such as Beach Club or Yacht Club) have a huge advantage here. You can use the International Gateway entrance, located just steps away from the France Pavilion, to rope drop Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure before most guests arrive from the front of the park.

If you prefer to skip the early wake-up call, keep an eye on AllEars’ Wait Time Data. We’ve consistently seen wait times dip in the late evening, especially during nighttime shows when many guests are staking out fireworks spots. And if you’re hoping to grab it as your Tier 1 Lightning Lane, be sure to set an alarm to grab it as soon as booking opens at 7 AM because Remy reservations go quickly.
This Ride is Getting A BIG Update SOON!

France will always have a special place in our EPCOT-loving hearts because, after all, where else can you grab a macaron, spot Belle, and hop on a Ratatouille adventure all in one stop? Here’s hoping Disney smooths out these hiccups soon, so we can get back to enjoying our pastries without the stress.

I Go To Disney World Every Day. These Are the Snacks I Avoid at All Costs
What is one must-do thing for you at EPCOT? Tell us in the comments below!

Ham and cheese on baguette is my start of an EPCOT day from Les Halles. But untill Remy goes fully 2d, I’ll pass. That thing made me nauseous. Moreso than Guardians(more adrenaline than nausea).
Been there recently and it was manic. Overcrowded, noisy, long queues and ride was down too. Used to be our favourite place for lunch and ice cream. No longer. Such a shame. It’s so pretty there but it was hard to enjoy. Hope it eventually calms down
