REVIEW: This Is the Most Ridiculous Thing We’ve EVER Eaten in EPCOT’s France Pavilion

Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie is one of our favorite spots in EPCOT, especially for breakfast, and we’re not the only ones, because the line here is usually wild. This is especially true now that they’ve introduced a new GIANT croissant.

It’s time for a GIANT croissant

The moment EPCOT announced that there was a new MASSIVE croissant available at this location, we knew we had to get there ASAP. However, this thing is harder to grab than we thought it would be! Now that we’ve finally gotten our hands on it, we’re here to tell you honestly if it’s worth the cost (and the wait). Spoiler alert: It’s ridiculous in the best way!

This massive treat is called the Croiss Oh La La and will cost you $13.95. This treat isn’t always readily available, though, because it takes so much dough to make!

The Croiss Oh La La is hard to grab!

It took us multiple tries to grab this treat, but in this instance, we were at the front of the line about 10 AM, and there were only about four left. So while Cast Members may tell you a time to come back and check by (for us, they told us around 10:30-11 AM), you may want to just stick around and keep an eye out, because that timeline can change.

We finally got it!

About a 1/3 of this croissant is dipped in creamy, gooey milk chocolate, and while it’s hardened when you get it (because it’s not warm), when you take it outside in the sun, it’ll heat that chocolate up, and make it warm once again. It’ll get messy, but wow, is it delicious!

That chocolate stars to melt, and YUM

As for the croissant itself, it’s the same fluffy, delicious croissant you’re used to picking up at this spot, just in a much larger form. Since it’s so large, we would have loved to see a filling inside it, perhaps like a cookie dough or chocolate filling, or maybe even a Bavarian cream. However, we could see how that would make the texture a little off for some people, so we can also appreciate it as it is!

Look how soft!

We don’t have any complaints about this treat other than we wish there was another easier way to carry it, rather than on a plate that barely fits it, but if you love bread and chocolate, or want a snack to share with some friends/family, this is the way to go.
