Why Disney+ Subscribers Are Marking Their Calendars for August 14th

Are you ready to rock, 2000s kids? Because a nostalgic new Disney film is coming to Disney+ on August 14th!

Camp Rock 3, the long-awaited threequel to the Disney Channel films from nearly two decades ago, is debuting on the streaming platform the day after it premieres on the Disney Channel!

Camp Rock 3, the sequel to the 2008 original and 2010’s Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, will see Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas — the Jonas Brothers, in case you’ve been living under a rock for a couple of decades — reprise their roles as Connect 3.

According to the film’s official synopsis, “When Connect 3’s opening act bails out at the last minute, the band heads back to Camp Rock to find fresh talent for their national tour. The competition heats up as an ambitious newcomer, Sage, goes all in, even if it means clashing with her brother, Desi. Sage, plus bad-boy guitarist Fetch, cello prodigy Rosie, and energetic drummer Cliff make the quest for the spotlight emotional and intense. But as friendships form and feelings build, the campers must decide if there’s more to life than winning.”

In addition to the Jonas Brothers, Maria Canals-Barrera will also be returning as Connie. They’ll be joined by new additions to the franchise, including Liamani Segura as Sage, Hudson Stone as Desi, Lumi Pollack as Rosie, Casey Trotter as Cliff, Brooklynn Pitts as Callie, Ava Jean as Madison, Malachi Barton as Fletch, and Sherry Cola as Lark.

Behind the scenes, the film is directed by Veronica Rodriguez and executive produced by Tim Federle, Joe Jonas, Nick Jonas, Kevin Jonas, original star Demi Lovato, Betsy Sullenger, Gary Marsh, and Spencer Berman.

Viewers who can’t get enough from the film can get tickets to The Worlds Collide Concert Tour! The trek, which gets underway in North America in fall 2026, features stars from the Descendants, ZOMBIES, and Camp Rock franchises, including Malachi Barton, Liamani Segura, Dara Reneé, Mekonnen Knife, Hudson Stone, Swayam Bhatia, Kiara Romero, and Alexandro Byrd. The tour will visit 49 arenas across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, with 11 shows across the U.K. and Europe in 2027.
