NEWS: Record-Breaking Cold Front Could Bring Dramatic Temperature Drop to Disney World

If you’re in Disney World early this week, we hope you brought a heavy jacket, because WOW, it’s about to get COLD.

It’s about to feel pretty cold out there!

While November is certainly much cooler in Disney World than the spring and summer months, it’s usually not too cold just yet. The mornings and evenings may require a jacket, and you may choose to wear long sleeves on days that won’t get too high up in temps, but dropping down into the 30s? Yep, that’s not normal, but that’s what’s about to hit multiple areas of Florida early this week!

ClickOrlando is reporting that temperatures around Florida will get down into the 30s and 40s, but with a wind chill, it’ll feel MUCH colder. When you wake up in Orlando at 7 AM on Tuesday, you may find yourself shivering, because you’ll be looking at a temperature around 37 degrees Fahrenheit.

That’s not all, though, because there’s a pretty intense wind chill taking place over the next few days as well. The wind chill in Orlando at the same time, around Tuesday morning, will make it feel more like 28 degrees Fahrenheit! Now THAT is a cold Disney morning — we hope you brought your jackets!

A freeze and frost could take place north and west of Interstate on Tuesday morning as well, but Orlando is not included in that warning. The last time Orlando saw temperatures this cold was January 25th of this year, when it dropped to 38 degrees Fahrenheit. It’s also only going to get up to 59 degrees in Orlando on Tuesday, so you’ll want to keep that jacket handy all day.

If you haven’t brought a jacket to Disney World, you’ll likely be tempted to buy one of Disney’s many jackets and sweatshirts, which they’ll conveniently place at the front of stores. This is to entice people to grab them to avoid the cold, and it works VERY well — we’ve done it ourselves before when we didn’t pack accordingly.

These jackets are VERY cozy!

If you drove your own car to Disney World and are realizing you need something warmer but DON’T want to spend an arm and a leg, we recommend driving over to a local Walmart or Target to grab a jacket that won’t cost nearly as much, but will still keep you warm.
