Why Disney World Annual Passholders Are Running to EPCOT This Month

EPCOT is the place to be in May!

Disney World Annual Passholders are often living right with several discounts and perk opportunities. Those perks aren’t letting up any time soon, as Disney World’s EPCOT is currently offering PLENTY of reasons for Passholders to visit this May!

From special merch to exclusive lounges, there are draws bringing Annual Passholders to EPCOT this May!

Passholders get access to limited-time merch, like Disney World magnets. In fact, Disney World Annual Passholders can claim an Annual Pass magnet themed after the mistress of evil, Maleficent, FOR FREE starting May 14th!

You can pick the magnet up inside Creations Shop at EPCOT during regular park operating hours from May 14th through July 31st, 2025. This souvenir is limited to one per Disney World Annual Passholder, and you must present your valid annual pass and valid ID at the time of pickup. These will only be available as supplies last, so make sure you snag yours quickly!

Annual Passholders will also get exclusive access to a special lounge in the Morocco pavilion as part of V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days!

Annual Passholders are invited to stop in and escape the Flordia heat at Restaurant Marrakesh from May 14th to July 13th, 2025, between 11 AM to 7 PM daily (subject to change). FREE offerings include an air-conditioned area, charging opportunities for mobile devices, a complimentary Passholder button, and special Disney PhotoPass offerings.

The lounge is subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis.

On May 12th, CommuniCore Hall will be temporarily closing as it transforms into the all-new GoofyCore Play Experience at EPCOT!

This limited-time character-focused play experience event will be led by Goofy himself and Disney described it as “an immersive environment where kids and families can dance, play, and interact with Goofy through a lineup of games and DJ-led dance parties”.

The event is a part of the “Cool Kid Summer” offerings happening across Disney World this summer.

This party will have a couple of games and activities, such as “Loopy Limbo” and “Parachutes ‘n’ Pipsqueaks” and will run from May 27th through September 1st, 2025, after a brief closure beginning May 12th. While CommuniCore Hall is closed, CommuniCore Plaza will remain open, as will the attached character meet-and-greet “Mickey & Friends”.

Annual Passholders will also want to grab Annual Passholder-exclusive merch! May is the last chance for Passholders to pick up merch themed after the 2025 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival, which officially ends on June 2nd.

Similarly, Disney just announced a NEW Passholder-exclusive tumbler featuring artwork by Joey Chou. The artwork on the tumbler is inspired by Disney World and features characters from popular Passholder magnets.

This non-refillable tumbler can be purchased with your choice of a non-alcoholic beverage from the following locations:

• Disney’s Animal Kingdom: Restaurantosaurus and Pizzafari
• Disney’s Hollywood Studios: Dockside Diner
• EPCOT: Connections Eatery and Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue

The tumbler can be purchased via mobile order on the My Disney Experience app and is available while supplies last.
