The 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is underway and we’re here bringing you coverage of everything the festival has to offer!

Home to special food booths, live entertainment, event-themed merchandise, and more, the festival also offers EPCOT guests limited-time exhibits from January 17th through February 24th, 2025. In fact, we got a good look at the Disney on Broadway exhibit, now featured at EPCOT’s CommuniCore Hall!
No Broadway ticket is required — the Once Upon a Stage: 30 Years of Disney on Broadway is available to all EPCOT guests during the duration of the festival inside the CommuniCore Hall in World Celebration. CommuniCore Hall has seen its fair share of criticism since it opened, but how will this new exhibit work in the space? Let’s find out!

The new exhibit features costumes and props from Disney stage musicals and a behind-the-scenes look at how Disney animated films have been adapted for Broadway over the years.

There is a lot to see inside the exhibit, and we loved getting to explore it. There are sections dedicated to various productions, including a section for The Lion King that included masks and puppets.

There is also a large display of costumes from the shows, including The Lion King, Newsies, The Little Mermaid, and more! Getting to see the costumes close-up gave us an even bigger appreciation for the productions.

You will also find scale models of sets from some Broadway productions, including Frozen and Mary Poppins.

Finally, there is also a section of merchandise for Disney on Broadway. You will also find Festival of the Arts merchandise here as well.

The exhibit isn’t the only thing Disney on Broadway provides for the festival. Nightly live performances will also be available over at the America Gardens Theatre, so hop on over and check them out!

CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza have had a bad rep since opening in mid-2024, so this exhibit has been a welcome sight. We were really happy with how Disney is using the space for the Festival of the Arts. It just feels right, and we hope they will continue to offer more exhibits like this.

Once Upon a Stage is just one of the many offerings at this year’s Festival of the Arts, and if you’re curious to learn more about the event, stay tuned right here at AllEars for all the latest updates!
