OK, Disney fans, it’s time to listen up. One of our favorite parts of being a Disney fan is getting to enjoy all kinds of Disney movies — both old and new! And while we love the classics, like Cinderella and Aladdin, there are plenty of NEW Disney movies that have captured our hearts. Seriously —Â have you seen Luca? That movie is amazing!
Well, we’ve got some BIG news to share. We’re reporting live from D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in California, and Disney just confirmed an all-time favorite movie is becoming a Broadway musical!
That’s right. We just learned that Disney is making a NEW Broadway musical. Disney announced that the movie The Greatest Showman is headed to Broadway!
The movie brought us AMAZING music that will now get to be heard on Broadway. The arrangement we heard at D23 was SO good, and we can’t wait to see it live at the theater!
Disney didn’t share many details about the new production, but based on what they revealed, we’re excited to learn more such as who will be performing in it. Disney also shared a peek at the new Hercules Broadway musical that will also be debuting!
In 2025, the Frozen musical will be coming to Disney+ And don’t forget! Moana 2 is coming to theaters this November, followed by Mufasa: The Lion King in December. Speaking of sequels, Inside Out 2 recently debuted in theaters, and it’s safe to say the movie was a BIG success. We’re hoping Disney stays on a roll with its upcoming films.
